Princess Cake

Bottom Layer: Vanilla Cake with chocolate icing, covered with fondant
Top Layer: Vanilla Cake with chocolate icing, covered with fondant
This was a birthday cake with a princess/unicorn theme. The layers were covered with dyed pink fondant, and ribbon covered the cake seam. Fondant unicorn silhouettes and hearts surrounded the bottom layer. Fondant butterflies with royal icing accents were placed all over the cake, and a fondant unicorn with painted accents was placed on the bottom layer. The castle was built from graham crackers and covered with fondant, then topped with fondant cutouts. The writing was done with royal icing.
